Mom's wisdom

"Here's the thing about life. You've got to find those fun things to have about life. This is not necessarily fun.
But you've got to find something fun." - Mom, on June 22, 2012.

Monday morning - student edition

To all my students:

I want to say to you that I love you, I am working hard for you, I am working very hard to get better so I can get back to class.

You know something happened, I am doing fine and I am going to get better.

Love,
Mrs. Worrell

Now, from Mrs. Worrell's daughter, all you students, our challenge to you is to work just as hard until spring break! Mom is taking each challenge day by day. If you do the same, you'll make her so proud.

The beauty of Judy is that her students tend to be everyone around her. Children, adults, and colleagues. I had the privilege of teaching with Judy for many years at NRMS. I literally sat in your room for days. You taught me how to teach; and to be kinder than necessary.
I've been following the updates; Kathy Cushing and Anne Darr keep me informed as well. We all long for the days of NRMS and to have a bit of Judy in our day. Those were the best of days. Keep working and I hope to see you soon. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Much love ~ Cheryl Wooten

Mrs. Worrell,

Mrs. Allen told us about your unfortunate incident and immediately attached a link to the blog on her website. I unfortnately haven't had time to stop and read it until just now! (Stupid homework!)
Hope all is going well for you, and wishing for you to get back to class soon! I miss you and your class and still have both of the spirals I filled up last year!
I'll try to come and visit whenever you get back to school!

Hi Mrs. Worrell,

I am really missing you and can not wait to see you come back.. You are such a wonderful teacher. I wrote a poem for you; it is on the videos we made. I also made a card that should be coming your way soon.
Mrs. Siek said she visited you yesterday and that the first they you asked about was us.. You are the #1 thing on our mind (Maybe #2, We do have school work you know)and we hope you come home soon.
My whole family is thinking about you. My mom and Nana are really hoping for you a speedy recovery and that harm will stay away from you after this.. My sister says "Hopefully God can make Mrs. Worrell feel better and get out of the ICU. Please have him make her feel a lot better from everything she has gone through in the last couple of days.."
Whenever you are sad remember this. Look around you... See all those sun rays.. Those are me.. I am still your ray of sunshine, whether you are in the dark or you are plain ol' sad. And I am always thinking of you!!!!!!!

Hope this brings you to a better state or condition in which you are in!!!!!

Love Always,
Katie G.

Hello Mrs. Worrell,

I have missed you soooo much the past days you were gone, and I am praying for you to get better! all you classes have missed you greatly, and Chuck has gotten alot better in professional language :). Hopefully, we will be seeing you soon in great condition. My grandmother lives in Iraq and is currently in very bad condition, and all of her kids don't visit her in Iraq. But she says that me and mom's company always make her feel stronger. I've always known that company, faith, and love are the best treatments, and with our (your students) faith, the teachers' company, and your family's love, you will be in the best condition before you know it!

Get well soon Mrs. Worrell!

Love,

Hello Mrs. Worrell,

I remember having you as a teacher back in 8th grade and it was definitely a privilege to be in your class. I heard about this through Mrs. Sanchez and when I did my heart just broke. I hope so bad that you get better, you were an awesome teacher to me and I'm sure a lot of other kids down in these past years. Get well soon, I hope to visit you down at the school sometime. I pray you are feeling better every day.
