In the ICU
Mom is out of surgery, stable and resting in the ICU. She has nice pink cheeks and even cracked a joke:
Judy, you have been in my thoughts and prayers since I first heard about your "brain tuna." What great news to finally read that you are out of surgery with pink cheeks. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers.
How does she manage to give exactly what we need? A quick joke from Judy after hours in the OR beats a winning lottery ticket. God is good. I am praying that all you noble Worrell soldiers rest well tonight. You are loved.
What a trooper! keep us posted. She sounds strong in mind and spirit and that will help her beat this! We are thinking and praying for you and the whole family! Love to all, the McDowells.

Judy, I know you will handle this with class and grace. We love you and pray for your speedy recovery. I agree with Jean - you always make me smile.

Love and prayers for the recovery of the brightest light of which I ever had the privilege of enjoying the warmth and shadow.
The recovery begins!
Judy, this tuna doesn't stand a chance against you!
Judy, I know a fighter and survivor when I see one, and you are one. I've been there, and I know you'll make it through just fine.
